- ISA is one of the three Colombian companies from the “electric utilities sector” included in The Sustainability Yearbook 2016, a publication that recognizes the most sustainable companies worldwide.
After evaluating the financial, environmental and social dimensions of more than 3,000 companies participating in the RobecoSAM (CSA) Corporate Sustainability Assessment held worldwide, ISA was chosen to be part of The Sustainability Yearbook 2016 "for its commitment and recognition in the electric utility industry."
According to the Dow Jones Committee analyst firm, RobecoSAM-Sustainability Investing, "ISA achieved excellent results in its ability to modernize and develop innovative business models that adjust to the new political, economic and technical environments of its industry."
Companies that have been included in the Yearbook must also make a timely management in identifying the risks of their business and respond to global trends in terms of sustainability.
The report concludes that "ISA is one of the Latin American companies that is best equipped to identify new opportunities for Corporate Sustainability".
