Transparencia por Colombia Corporation, presented the results of its “Transparencia Empresarial 2018” (Corporate Transparency 2018) study which assessed 23 companies (who volunteered) from the country’s utilities sector. ISA’s results, place it once again, as a low corruption risk company.
This study, conducted every two years, is a tool to promote within the company sector, a culture of integrity and to provide good practices for institutional strengthening.
“Ethics is the value of values for ISA group, part of our culture and which is in our DNA since ISA was incorporated. Our unbreakable zero tolerance policy towards corruption and the strong mechanisms we have developed, are the best reference letter we have as a group for the trust of the countries where we have presence and to enter new markets,” said Bernardo Vargas Gibsone, ISA’s CEO.
This Transparencia Empresarial study measures four main components: Clear Policies, Openness, Dialogue and Requests Management. Ever since this study has been conducted, ISA and its INTERCOLOMBIA affiliate, which was also classified as a low corruption risk company, have obtained this status.
ISA was also awarded by Transparencia por Colombia, the assurance that its Corporate Ethics Program is a good practice to share at the Good Practices Round, an event held by this Corporation. These awards were presented at the event where results for Transparencia Empresarial were officially given, this Thursday, November 15, 2018.
