Comprehensive risk management
At ISA and its companies, comprehensive risk management supports strategic decisions, is transversal and of great importance to the organization, it aims to protect and preserve the integrity of resources, financial and reputation, and the achievement of objectives.
Fraud and corruption risk management is framed in the policy and methodology defined in the organization for Comprehensive Risk Management, within which it was established that the processes must identify risk events and their risk management measures fraud and corruption, independent if its valuation is low. The management of this risk is carried out within the following cycle:
Prevention
Prevention mechanisms are intended to minimize the probability of occurrence of risk events and to limit exposure to them. In this sense, it is important to adopt a coherent and integrated approach that takes into consideration all the elements defined in the organization, among which are: policies, guidelines, procedures, roles, responsibilities.
Detection
Investigation and response
The investigation mechanisms are intended to carry out the necessary actions to clarify the materialization of possible risks. When information is available on unethical conduct, whether potential or actual, ISA and its companies will carry out the necessary verifications objectively and exhaustively.
