Quality Assurance

Trusting in its suppliers' quality and high standards, ISA has established criteria to ensure quality in the purchase of goods and services in all the procurement processes, implemented as follows:

The Company established the following criteria for private bids and direct orders:

  • If there are enough certified suppliers for the purchase, the Quality Assurance Certificate shall be a requirement for participation.
  • If there are not enough certified suppliers, the party responsible for managing the purchase shall establish the quality assurance requirement in accordance with

Call for Tenders

The call for tenders refers to quality assurance in the standardized document chapters, which establish the participation requirements and terms for submitting the bids.

The Supplier Quality System Certificate is required for the procurement of Energy Transmission (STE) goods and services.

Criteria for accepting proposals

Quality assurance shall be considered as a criteria for accepting proposals, according to the following terms:

  • If the Quality System Certificate is established as a participation requirement in the call for tenders, any proposal that fails to provide the required certification shall be disqualified.
  • If the Quality System Certificate or the Quality Profile is established as a participation requirement for private bids or direct orders, any proposal that fails to provide the required certification shall be disqualified.
